Job Summary

Directs and supervises clinical operations of fast-paced urgent care center with high patient volume. Oversees and optimizes the clinical flow of patients of the department. Participates in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of departmental growth and enhancements. Provides leadership and advanced knowledge and skill to the department. Plans, develops and organizes the activities of the clinical staff, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of quality health care. Develops and implements continuous improvements in clinical processes to ensure quality outcomes for patients. Embodies GHS compassion standards in all interactions and aids in providing an exceptional experience for all patients and families presenting to the clinic.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..

Minimum Education

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Minimum Experience

3 years - nursing experience in Emergency Department (preferred) or Urgent Care setting

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

RN - REGISTERED NURSE - NLRN

Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

N/A

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

1 year RN experience in ED or urgent care  with strong supervisory/ leadership experience in other applicable area

Other Required Experience

CPR Certification - Required

BSN - Preferred

Certification in specialty area - Preferred

Current BLS, ACLS, Arrythmia training, and ENPC (preferred) or PALS - Required

MD360 experience- Preferred
