This opportunity will be working at our Arlington Hospital campus located at 800 W. Randol Mill Road in Arlington, TX 76012.

The work schedule for this opportunity will be a rotating shift and may include rotating weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following qualifications:

Education

Pharmacy Bachelor's Degree or higher is required

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required, if applicable.

Experience

3 years hospital pharmacy experience or residency preferred

Licenses and Certifications

PHAR - Pharmacist upon hire required

Skills

Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.

Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care. 15%

Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.

Ongoing professional development and growth.

Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

Other duties as assigned.
