The Clinical Pharmacist is a highly trained practitioner who plays an active role in managing all aspects of medication therapy in an acute-care hospital setting. Position tasks and responsibilities include; performing duties independently on Unit-based Clinical Service Areas, Central Pharmacy, Children's Hospital Pharmacy, Emergency Department Satellite, and Intensive Care Unit Satellite Pharmacies.

In 2005, Sunrise Children's Hospital completed a $75 million renovation and expansion effort, which is the last time the facility added to its capacity. Currently, the two hospitals have 690 beds. When the project is complete, the capacity will grow to 834 beds.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education.
- BS or Pharm.D degree.
LICENSURE:
- Nevada State licensure as a Pharmacist.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting.
