SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
SHIFT: Mixed with rotating weekends.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies according to established operational and chemical procedures as prescribed by the hospital's physicians and other qualified personnel. Reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications as necessary, and regularly consults with Medical Staff, Nursing, and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to patients.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One year hospital or equivalent experience required. Residency preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Current and valid license as a registered pharmacist in the state of California.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

PC Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, Meditech, and purchasing vendor applications and others as required

Basic Skills - able to perform mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
