Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Registered Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team centrally located in Seattle, WA.

The Northwest Kidney Center Pharmacy is an outpatient retail-clinic pharmacy that provides pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care to chronic kidney disease patients, kidney dialysis patients, and kidney transplant patients.

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Pharmacist will fill and dispense prescriptions using sound professional judgment and clinical expertise.

In addition, the clinical pharmacist will provide medication counseling, medication reconciliation, Medication Therapy Management, and perform drug therapy monitoring to resolve medication-related problems and support optimal health outcomes. The pharmacist will also provide drug information to dialysis clinic staff and providers.

In addition, the clinical pharmacist will assist in making business decisions and in the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, and be licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Washington
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent retail or hospital pharmacy experience
Preferred qualifications
  • Ambulatory care pharmacy experience and/or renal pharmacotherapy knowledge/experience
Shift:

Part-time, 24 hours, days (0), Mon-Fri.
