STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
SCHEDULE: Rotating Day & Evenings (Some weekends)
ATTRIBUTES
+ Three (3) years of hospital experience preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to achieve positive patient outcomes
+ Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Pharmaceutical Management.Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes; advise providers on issues concerning drug therapy, side effects and dose management
+ Leadership & Relationship Development.Mentor/supervise pharmacists in training; coordinate the activities of assigned pharmacy technicians; maintain liaison relationship with medical and nursing staff
+ Evaluation.Conduct and evaluate medication histories, assess compliance and suggest modifications
EDUCATIONBS: Pharmacy (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSM - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSLPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
