* Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Night shift; Wednesday to Tuesday; 9:00pm to 8:00am (7 on 7 off)

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (required) or
* Other Pharm. D completion (required) and
* CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
* PHAR- Pharmacist (required)
* 3 years hospital experience or residency (preferred)
* Completion of a PGY1 residency, preferably with experience rounding in teaching rounds in an acute care hospital of similar size/acuity as THFW (300+ beds, Level I or Level II Trauma center)
* IV Certification (*highly preferred)

Position Responsibilities A Clinical Pharmacist with Texas Health will ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must also reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives.

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Clinical Pharmacist will

* communicate effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
* Provide timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
* provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
* not only manage one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
* complete other duties as assigned.
