Clinical Pharmacist, Utilization Management -- $5,000 Sign on bonus

Great opportunity for a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to develop, implement and lead clinical pharmacy utilization management programs to achieve high quality patient outcomes in an ambulatory care setting.

This is a full-time position with variable hours between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday (Five - 8-hour days). No weekends or call.

Job Summary:

Collaborates with the utilization management, care management, clinical pharmacy and other clinic leadership teams to implement, evaluate and optimize national, regional and local medication utilization initiatives. Evaluates medication utilization and prior authorization requests as it relates to benefits, medical necessity, affordability, site of service and patient efficacy. Responsible to implement processes to improve patient care, outcomes, and quality improvement metrics related to CMS HEDIS/Star ratings.

Education: The strongest applicant will be PharmD, residency trained or 3-5 years of clinical experience. Previous utilization management experience preferred.
