Product Claims Substantiation Specialist; OTC
One of the world's largest consumer health and personal care products companies, with a beloved portfolio of consumer-trusted high-profile brands, is in immediate need of a Product Claims Substantiation Specialist, operating in the OTC space.
In this role, you will help connect the dots between R&D, Product Development, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs and the Technical teams to help synthesize new consumer insights, clinical approaches and claims, including upstream innovation ideas.
Support the translation of scientific and consumer insights into consumer relevant benefits to elevate claims and communication.
Activities:
Support and substantiation of OTC product claims
Manage and organize a claims database
Support Product Development to meet strategic claims initiatives
Aggregate and organize Technical Data used to support and substantiate product claims
Review large sets of technical data used to substantiate claims
Support Strategic exploratory initiatives; guidance on strategic product claims
Liaison with Medical Affairs, Marketing and Label Art team
Requirements
Qualifications:
A scientific degree in the biological or physical sciences and/or engineering, pharmaceutical, pharmacy or related science is required.
A B.S. with a minimum of 2 years of personal care/consumer/OTC/pharmaceutical R&D experience is required.
Experience in OTC, consumer testing, claims substantiation approaches or strategy is preferred.
Experience translating science to actionable claims and communications is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate, negotiate, and effectively represent a technical department on multi-functional project teams is required
Experience as a self-motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and scientific problem-solving aptitude is required.
