Manage and coordinate multiple, complex projects or programs.  Develop implementation schedules and perform resource estimates.  Provide project leadership and direction for project resources.  Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating solution delivery projects and technology implementation activities on an enterprise-wide level for all levels of technology-based work.  Perform risk identification/mitigation, change management, communication and integration planning.  Build project plans and sprint cycles for effective project execution.  Produce reports and track performance metrics.  Train and educate others on project management leading practices and methods.  Apply leading practices to achieve best possible project results.  Maintain close working relationships with customers and facilitates business relationships with vendor representatives as needed to realize successful project results.  Work closely with stakeholders, delivery managers, and other leaders as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required


Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Healthcare, or Business Management, or 3+ years related experience required.


Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business setting optimally using information systems.  Information Technology Project Management experience strongly preferred.


Licensure, certification, and/or registration:  PMP certification is required within one year of hire.  ScrumMaster certification is preferred.  ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred.  Must be licensed to legally operate a motor vehicle in Virginia.


Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices. Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation. Process orientation with strong strategic planning skills and creativity. Strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making ability. Strong dedication to deliver quality customer service in a timely manner. Good human relations, diplomacy, and oral/written communications skills in technical and non-technical areas.
