Regeneron is currently looking for an Analytical Scientist specialized in Cell and Gene and Therapy (CGT) programs with an emphasis on AAV with a Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm schedule. This position is part of our Quality Control Analytical Sciences Biology team. This position will work closely with our Research and Development teams for execution of preclinical/clinical manufacturing CGT projects. Our Analytical Scientists support Manufacturing, Process Sciences (PS), Quality Control (QC) and Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) departments through the development, optimization, troubleshooting and application of analytical test procedures. This position has the opportunities for bench work activities, lab management and cross-functional participation with other teams within or outside of Regeneron.

As an Analytical Scientist, a typical day might include the following:

  • Develop, transfer, and optimize various Cell and Gene Therapy projects.
  • Serve as department subject matter expert in related test methods and laboratory techniques for both internal and external support
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies/instrumentation to support operational excellence and improve work efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with partners and CMO/CROs to develop the manufacturing process and control strategy for CGT programs.
  • Review, tabulate, analyze results and generate summary reports.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and SOPs, support CMC regulatory activities
  • Troubleshoot established test methods used in sample testing.
  • Present findings and results to management, internal cross functional meeting or external meetings.
  • Maintain lab supplies, equipment, and accurate records for GMP compliance.
  • Draft, review, and facilitate implementation of departmental SOPs

To be considered for the Analytical Scientist, you must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. For various levels you must have the following:

Analytical Scientist: PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry or Chemistry

Sr. Analytical Scientist: PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry or Chemistry and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Prior experience in analytical testing and analytical method development is required. Any experience in Cell and Gene Therapy is preferred.

Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
