Description
Position Summary:
The Business Analyst works with functional and technical stakeholders and experts. The individual is a subject matter expert with Validation skills who understands data integration including data integrity.
Requirements and Skills:
- Demonstrate understanding and experience data warehousing, integration, GDP, etc.
- Accountable to lead and/or support large, medium, and small GDP projects
- Defines, designs, and builds user requirements in partnership with functional and technical stakeholders
- Creates and maintains functional specifications, approves technical specifications
- Defines the test and validation approach in partnership with the Operations team
- Provide Business Analysis support along with pitching in with validation testing activities ( test case author, execution or dry running).
- Well versed with business requirement documents and technical specification documents.
- Works closely with key stakeholders and other teams to gather requirements and act as key liaison with IT and business.
- Experience conducting meetings and participating in JAD sessions.
- Engage in gap analysis, Review project needs and provide recommendations
- Proactive, able to work with limited supervision and ask for help when needed
- Resourceful, able to find creative solutions to challenges. Identifies and resolves complex problems
- Engage in Project Planning, Coordination and excellent Stakeholder management
- Strong organizational skills, process-oriented and great attention to detail
- Intermediate experience with SQL preferred
- Ability to influence, work with others, facilitate workshops, and present to management, manage concurrent initiatives
- Excellent command of MS Office tools including but not limited to Excel, Visio
- Life Sciences / Clinical background highly preferred
