Job Title: Biology Lab Tech - PCR
Location: Horsham, Pa
Responsibilities:
- Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results.
- Follows prescribed procedures, performing any tests within any of the laboratory specialties and calculating results of the tests performed if necessary.
- Ability to learn and perform molecular techniques such as RNA isolations, RT-PCR, and ddPCR assays in wastewater
- Recognize and correct basic analyzer malfunctions; notifying management personnel when appropriate
- Prepare reagents or media from a prescribed procedure
- Conduct established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products
- Enter data from analysis of tests and results into computer for storage
