Top Reasons to Work with Us Well-funded Career growth What You Will Be Doing Process, analyze, and interpret high volumes of data for biomarker discovery and validation using NGS sequencing of preclinical models and tumor samples Work towards the development of new methods and algorithms to identify and characterize expression changes in preclinical models and patient tumor samples Tweak and enhance current processes by improving their assay capabilities and technical abilities What You Need for this Position MS in Bioinformatics (or related discipline) with 3 years of industry or academic experience; or a Ph D in Bioinformatics or a relevant quantitative discipline Ability to develop algorithms for the analysis of biological data (prior experience with high-throughput sequencing and variant calling included) Hands on experience with relevant programming/scripting languages (i.e. R, Python) Experience with NGS analysis within variant calling pipeline development and variant annotation Familiarity with open-source tools and packages, workflow design, and automation Bonus Points For Knowledge And/or Experience With machine learning techniques and their applications in genomic and clinical studies statistics biomarker development oncology What's In It for You Competitive Salary ($95K-$150K DOE) Comprehensive Health Benefits Equity options Annual bonus Reimbursement for parking/public transportation So, if you are a Bioinformatics Scientist with experience, please apply today!
