Social and Administrative Pharmacy Faculty Position

Creighton University is a comprehensive Catholic, Jesuit University. The Department of Pharmacy Sciences invites applications for a full-time 12-month tenure track faculty position in Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the rank of assistant/associate professor. A Ph.D. degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy or a related social science/health discipline is required. The position is available immediately and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Candidates with interest and experience in internet-based distance education are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities of the position include: teaching in the campus and distance Doctor of Pharmacy degree pathways, teaching in the Pharmaceutical Sciences graduate program and mentoring graduate students. Engagement in productive, publishable and externally funded interdisciplinary research, as well as traditional academic and professional service commitments, including student advisement, are required.

Preference will be given to candidates who also hold a professional degree in pharmacy. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in teaching and scholarly activities.
