Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) # Parkview Cancer Institute is accepting applications for a clinical pharmacy specialist in ambulatory oncology.# # Position Details: The Parkview Physicians Group Oncology service line continues to grow in northeast Indiana.# Expansion of ambulatory pharmacy services is needed to meet the demand.# This ambulatory oncology pharmacy specialist will join other ambulatory oncology specialists to provide direct patient care as part of the Solid Tumor and Hematology Oncology treatment teams within the Parkview Physician Group Oncology offices in the Parkview Cancer Institute located on the campus of PRMC. The Medical Oncology treatment team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, patient care nurses, research nurses, medical assistants, dieticians, and care navigators.# The pharmacists are an integral part of the treatment team identifying evidence-based treatment plans, educating patients and families, resolving medication therapy opportunities working side by side with the clinic staff to meet the needs of each unique patient.# The ambulatory oncology specialist is supported by an extensive oncology Pharmacy team, including an Oncology Pharmacy Leader, three ambulatory oncology pharmacy specialists, one inpatient oncology pharmacy specialist, four infusion center pharmacists, three investigational drug service pharmacists, multiple pharmacy technicians, and a medication assistance coordinator.# In addition to providing office-based services, this role will facilitate patient care in both inpatient and outpatient infusion as part of a seamless inpatient to outpatient transition, with the patient as our top priority.## Funding available for relocation costs.# Salary and sign-on bonus negotiable.## More about Parkview Health # Parkview Pharmacy: Parkview Health#s world-class clinical teams are dedicated to providing the highest levels of compassionate care. Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required.
