Here is some of what you can expect from being an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist with us:

* You will perform medication procurement, medication packaging and all aspects of medication compounding and distribution
* You will provide drug information and clinical service to health professionals and patients
* You will supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students and Volunteers
* You will monitor all aspects of medication therapy in the facility
* You will provide services which require specialized skills and/or age-specific competencies, which include adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients from neonatal through adolescent ages
* You will serve as a patient advocate when planning and implementing pharmaceutical care

Qualifications you will need for this role:

* Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Kansas
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
* Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) preferred
* Pharmacy residency (PGY1) or 2 years of hospital experience
* Specialty residency training (PGY2) preferred
* Board Certified as Pharmacotherapy specialist or other recognized specialty practice area is preferred
* Registered as a preceptor with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy is preferred
