Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the plant manager/division controller and their staffs. Specific tasks include manage calendars, make travel arrangements, assist with expense reports, coordinate recruiting visits and arrangements, manage plant visitors, assist with tours, training events, celebrations, service awards, etc.

• Prepare presentations for communications meetings, staff meetings, and special events, etc.

• Act as first point of contact for Chief Technology Officer and Staff in regards to building and ground concerns as well as general information requests. Independently solves most problems.

• Maintain documentation for record keeping and compliance reporting (i.e. Appropriation Requests, Quarterly Certifications)

• Troubleshoots process / paperwork problems and proactively follows up on problem resolution

• Manages event planning logistics (meetings, off sites)

• Manage campus-wide restricted parking access approval process

• Develops campus-wide communications

• Manages daily mail for plant manager/division controller

• Recommends changes to methods and procedures

• Provides feedback and coaching to others including new employees


Role Specific Tasks:

• Sullivan Park United Way Co-Captain-Assemble team, organize events, liaison with Corp Team, lead solicitation process, track performance, etc.

• Sullivan Park Admin Network Lead-Schedule meetings, manage agendas, and solicit guest speakers as required

• Safety Coordinator for 2nd Floor of FR building


Travel Requirements: none

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: This is an 8 - 5 position supporting a 24/7 Research and Development campus. Hours outside of the normal office time are required at times.


Required Education: Associate degree in Business, General Administration or equivalent

Required Years and Area of Experience: 5 years in a high level administrative, coordinator, HR administration, etc. role. Experience working in a Research and Development environment desired but not required.
