Our client is looking to hire a Manager, Inventory Control to join their growing organization! This organization presents multiple opportunities for growth and new challenges. Major Duties and Responsibilities Following FDA GMP regulations and guidelines, manage all inventory processes and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at desired levels and that all materials and products are of good quality and shipped on a timely basis. Key duties and responsibilities are but not limited to: Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine availability or shortages. Create detailed reports for inventory adjustments and stock levels. Implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control process. Resolve receiving, order and billing discrepancies in coordination with Procurement personnel, Finance personnel and vendors. Process returned purchased items that are not acceptable or do not meet specifications. Implement and maintain inventory system storage processes supporting warehouse best practices. Develop weekly shipping and receiving schedules. Monitor weekly purchase orders with Procurement Manager to determine warehouse utilization and capacity. Open manufacturing works orders for products on schedule. Allocate materials to work orders based on lot numbers, expiration dates and FIFO rules. Lead Materials review Board program. Liaison with Procurement manager to resolve materials issues avoiding materials shortages. Prepare manufacturing materials kits based on open work orders. Review and update ERP system open work orders. Assure the integrity of the inventory through cycle counts and inventory audits. Maintain organized inventory stock and orderly warehouse at all times. Keeping team members and management informed of inventory issues. Adhere to and enforce regulatory and compliance requirements. Manage, train and direct warehouse/inventory personnel Experience Bachelor’s degree required Requires five or more years of experience in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management. Requires two or more years of leadership experience. Requires one or more years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing and/or Quality Control testing environment. Requires a background in cGMP principles and Quality Management Systems. Knowledge Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies. Must have an excellent understanding of Quality Control/Assurance and be familiar with regulatory requirements. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
