Position Information
Here at WakeMed, the Pharmacy Technician performs all functions necessary to assist pharmacist(s) in providing safe, efficient, friendly and cost-effective pharmacotherapy services.
Experience Requirements
:
Prior Pharmacy Technician experience -or- graduate of a Pharmacy Technology program -or- actively enrolled in a School of Pharmacy is required. Prior hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Select Education Type
:
High school graduate or GED required. Graduate of a Pharmacy Technology program -or- actively enrolled in a Pharmacy Technology program preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
Required to be eligible for registration with NC Board of Pharmacy (must obtain registration during the first week of employment); Required to be certified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPHT certification).

7am-3:30pm/2:30pm-11pm
