| Description |
Basic Qualification
Qulalified candidates will possess the following training and experience.
• MPH, PharmD, PhD MD or equivalent education/experience in related Health Outcomes (HO) discipline
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of applying reimbursement and market access issues to product development
• Specialized knowledge and tactical application of HO methods, research and information at the therapy/product level including (any or all of the following):
Heath Economics / Economic Evaluation
Patient Reported Outcomes
Health Technology Assessment
Health Service Research
• Excellent Project Management
• Financial and budgetary management
• Profound understanding of Pharmaceutical Development and Commercialization
• One or more years of HO experience in a relevant industry, commercial, consulting, health service, policy and/or academic environment; United States (US) market
Demonstrated behavioural competencies will include: strong matrix, interpersonal and influencing skills, customer focus, leadership, innovative and strategic thinking, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with HO external experts and building partnerships

Details
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in the development of strategies and evidence packages to demonstrate the value of late stage development and US marketed assets;
• Represent HO on matrix bodies and advise internal stakeholders in discovery, clinical development, product strategy and commercial to ensure provision of HO information to support internal decision making during product development and commercialization;
• Research and represent insights from the US reimbursement and access environment to support the strategic direction of assets and develop appropriate evidence throughout R&D;
• Develop and implement Health Outcomes strategies within disease/product level to support the commercial objectives of GSK products during development and launch;
• Provide relevant outcome strategies to develop, translate and analyze patient reported outcomes to support effective registration and product differentiation;
• Execute the funding principles and effectively drive the budget building process for HO projects with relevant sponsors;
• Represents Global Health Outcomes (GHO) at a disease and product level at external professional, scientific meetings and forums. |
