Description
Basic Qualification
• 10+ years of industry experience, 4 years within medical affairs or clinical research
• Advanced degree
• Experience in writing, editing and publishing scientific reports
• Some experience with hands-on bio-instrumentation within clinical research studies
• Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external customers
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Details
We are looking for a cutting-edge candidate for the role of Principal Clinical Research Scientist within Research and Development at our Innovation Center in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The position is challenging, fast paced and requires working with multidisciplinary teams toward common goals. Individual should be self motivated with a passion to contribute and an ability to quickly learn and contribute to team strategy. Position fosters individual empowerment and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
• Review scientific literature to facilitate preparation of clinical and therapeutic strategies for new opportunities
• Work with Medical Director, R&D, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory and Product Development, as well as Commercial to prepare clinical development plans for identified new opportunities.
• Develop innovative study designs to enable new and competitive claims to be made for identified products.
• Develop study protocols and oversees study implementation
• Contribute to report writing
• Work with the Medical Director and the US business to provide Medical Affairs support for select current marketed brands.
• Keep up to date with scientific literature in appropriate areas.
• Work with project teams to create and maintain scientific dossiers on current and future products
• Partner with regulatory in the preparation of regulatory submissions
Requirements
Preferred Qualification
• Ph.D. in bio-physics
• Consumer Healthcare experience
