Basic Qualification
•Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated relevant business system support experience
•Demonstrated track record of delivery of business support across a portfolio of Data Acquisition systems within a pharmaceutical environment
•Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new programming languages/techniques and apply these to solve business problems
Details
Key Responsibilities:
•Triage of study related user issues across the Data Acquisition System portfolio
•Appropriate escalation of issues to IT and work in partnership with IT, ISS Tool Development Group or third party suppliers to deliver and implement the required changes
•Advise/support ISS DA Business System Owners
•Liaise with users to determine how the systems can be improved to increase efficiency and productivity and keep up with technological advances
•Take on the Business System Owner responsibilities for critical DA systems as appropriate
•Keep abreast of GSK systems interfacing with Data Acquisition systems

Preferred Qualification
•An excellent in depth understanding of critical Data Acquisition systems used within GSK, including their functionality, how they are used and how they interface with other GSK systems, to include but not limited to Dataset Manager, SPECTRE, ClinTrial, EDU, TSU, PKU, PGx
•In depth understanding of Data Acquisition supporting infrastructure to include but not limited to ORACLE and UNIX
•In depth knowledge of SAS, PL/SQL and VBA
•Understanding and experience of IQMS development principles
•Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11
•Understanding of the Business System Owner role
•Understanding of the end to end clinical process with in depth knowledge of Data Acquisition processes |
