- Preferably tertiary qualified, preference to science based discipline.
- Prior experience in sales, preference to pharmacy, pharmaceutical or medical industries.
- High level of product knowledge and understanding of associated therapy areas (vaccines).
- Knowledge of GSK organisational structure and key internal customers is valued.
- Effective understanding and use of ETMS.
- Effective use of key software products.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vaccines Account Manager to join the Vaccines Sales Team covering a territory including the CBD and Central Brisbane Territory in Brisbane.

Primary Objective of Position:
To implement the Vaccines sales strategy and deliver sales objectives, through management of key accounts within a defined territory. You will be directly accountable for the sales of your promoted product/s in your territory. You will be working in partnership with your customers with an objective to drive growth of your promoted brand/s.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
• Achieve Monthly and Annual sales targets and sales growth for promoted brand/s, through maintaining ongoing business and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Establish and implement a territory business plan including effective use of expenditure budget to maximise return on investment.
• Account activity planning.
• Sell and position brand/s to Health Care Professionals within your accounts.
• Maintain product and disease state knowledge for promoted brand/s.
• Use of approved promotional materials on territory consistent with current strategy.
• Promote business initiatives within your accounts.
• Position GSK as a supplier of choice for vaccines within your accounts.
• Maintain an understanding of your territory and the broader vaccines market environment.
• Timely communication of market intelligence to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Support strategy and implementation of plan for external experts.
• Timely completion of administrative and other related tasks – e.g. expenses.
• Provide input and support to the Channel Manager and support implementation of sales strategy.
• Support NIP strategy as required.
• Work additional ad hoc days as required depending on business needs – e.g. conferences
• Ensure all activities are compliant with all specified internal and external codes and regulatory requirements
