Technical Skills/Prior Experience:

• High level product knowledge and understanding of associated therapy areas preferred
• Effective understanding and use of ETMS, Excel and Power Point

Details
Two exciting opportunities have been created within the Speciality directorate to align with the future launch of Volibris. The Northern Region role will be based in Sydney. If you would like to be a part of this exciting launch and feel you meet the desired core competencies and experience listed below, we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales and market share objectives for specified products (Volibris, Flolan) within major public and private hospitals. The role encompasses promoting GSK products to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Specialists/Nurses and relevant Hospital staff.
• In line with key message deliverables present supporting clinical data clearly and concisely
• Managing hospital formulary submissions within key accounts.
• Develop & maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the Healthcare environment
• Input & maintain Territory management customer database.
• Development & maintenance of a high level of product knowledge. You must be able to apply that knowledge in the implementation of the sales strategy.
• Territory planning: A sound knowledge of product sales performance throughout the territory is also required for efficient coverage planning
• Use of current promotional materials: ensure that only current, approved promotional materials are used. Develop an acceptable level of competence in the use of these materials.
• Maintenance of professional standards: responsible for projecting the image of GSK. All activities will be conducted according to the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.

Preferred Qualification
Qualifications:
• Preferable tertiary education in science, nursing or business based discipline.
• Previous experience as a Hospital or Specialist rep would be an advantage
