| Description |
Basic Qualification Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience. 2-3 years of outside Pharmaceutical/Healthcare or CPG sales with territory and account management. Details Candidate can live in Westchester, Yonkers, White Plains, Rye, or Englewood area. Effectively use GSK product knowledge and business and promotional plans to achieve sales objectives. Use current knowledge of competitors' products and promotions to more effectively position GSK products with customers. Skilled in identifying & clarifying customer needs and expectations. Demonstrate effective sales skills as indicated by preparation and organization of the sales call, account development, personal rapport, fact based (key message) selling, use of promotional materials, and customer commitment to GSK products. Ability to conduct and facilitate certificate programs with Healthcare Providers. Increase HCPs counseling capability with their patients on gsk conditions such as Tobacco Addiction. Ability to counsel consumers directly on GSK conditions such as Tobacco Addiction. Take action to ensure that GSK & customer goals are aligned and met. Assurance of confidentiality of proprietary information. Ability to develop strategic business plans & growth strategy for assigned accounts/markets/territories. Focus on priority products and customer segments. Organization skills to order product samples. Safely store all product samples and maintain an accurate inventory of required drug and consumer products. Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Follow an overall sales call plan calling and delivering the required frequency of calls. Demonstrate knowledge of customers within the territory, including such factors as recommendation and prescribing patterns, and purchasing habits. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and profiles via Call Report software. Communicate with Division Manager as required. |

| Requirements |
Preferred Qualification A successful track record with previous positions demonstrating leadership. Entrepreneurial spirit, high learning agility, judgment and decision making, effective communication skills and resilience in a sales environment. Competency using Call Reporting software preferred. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail (Lotus Notes). |
