Basic Qualification Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience. 2-4 years sales experience in the Consumer/OTC industry. Direct or indirect account management experience. Demonstrated success in improving retail access conditions. Ability to effectively prepare and present detailed analysis utilizing various sources of data. Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Demonstrated performance management skills. Details Achieve retail business objectives that contribute to consumption and profit goals of GSK. Manage the retail process to maintain core distribution and maximize speed to shelf on new items. Make geographical and account business decisions that are consistent with the GSK policies and procedures. Deliver annual objectives and volume goals at assigned subgroup accounts. Act as a communication conduit for information flow between our strategic partners and our GSK internal and external customers. Create and execute business objectives based upon market conditions and competitive threats. Create tools and business solutions that meet specific customer and geographical requirements. Foster a cohesive working environment with strategic partners that enhance the development of individual team members. Develop Retail expertise through field audits, requiring 50% overnight travel. Provide direction, information, and training for the execution and achievement of retail access standards and objectives to third party retail sales agency. Provide ongoing audit and validation of retail conditions for up to 40 Third-Party Retail Sales Representatives within assigned geography. Responsible for the achievement of retail access standards and objectives for up to 3,000 retail stores across all COTs within assigned geography and all stores for assigned accounts. Responsible for $100 million to $400 million in GSK Retail Volume across assigned geography and account responsibilities. Perform headquarter calls at assigned accounts to develop retailer business strategies that drive GSK volume growth. Activities to include promotional planning / execution, category reviews, forecasting volume, supply chain logistics and retail execution strategies. |
