Details
Project manage the solid dose packaging project at the Boronia site
Coordination
Ensure the various parts of the project are progressing according to plan and budget.
Responsible for
• Maintaining the project plan and reporting progress to the central team and the Melbourne steering team. Track the critical path and communicate progress against the plan and milestones to the steering team and other interested parties
• Tracking the budget spend, both capital and operational costs and reporting to the steering team on a monthly basis
• Running the monthly steering team meeting and managing the minutes, actions and risk log
• Working with the various parts of the project and understand the interdependencies between them and ensuring these interdependencies are linked in the project plan
• Developing the project brief document and documenting changes to this brief ie managing the scope of the project
• Following the GSK project management guidelines as appropriate for the size of the project.
• Ensuring the project meets its objectives of doubling the output per head and halving the cost of the pack from the packaging department compared with 2008.
• Leading small projects within the scope of the overall project, such as the material flow to and from the lines
