Basic Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree
5 -10 years Operational Excellence experience
5 years management experience (defined as managing direct reports)
Six Sigma: Green Belt Certification
Details
Manage 3 people, to be comprised of Master Black Belts, OE Experts and OE Engineers.
Maintain Fishbones driving reduction in COG’s (Cost of Goods)
•Transfer of OE tools, techniques, knowledge and skills to site associates. Provide coaching and development through the transfer of OE tools to the site population
Ensure alignment of Operational Excellence with the site strategy and Global Manufacturing & Supply strategy
Remove barriers to OE implementation of improved processes
Promote implementation of Process Understanding and Performance Management Capability
Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team
Facilitate root cause analysis events
Network with other site’s Experts and Champions to exchange and implement best methods and good practices. Facilitate site tours in support of knowledge transfer
Role influences site leadership to adopt OE as a way of working within the organization
Requirements
Preferred Qualification
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence effectively at all levels within the organization. Ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams
Leadership skills that enable the introduction of new ways of working
Proven capability to lead and motivate teams that will deliver business solutions and benefits with timely execution
Demonstrate energy, initiative and analytical problem solving skills
Global experience and influence on international aspects of OE
