Basic Qualification • Bachelors Degree Experience in marketing/sales at the manager level either within the manufacturer or retail environment • Global brand, category and portfolio shopper management experience including • Experience working across trade sectors and geographies • P&L/budget management, project management experience • Science based marketing experience • Experience in OTC or related categories . Details Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work with the Vice President, Category/Shopper Marketing to create and deploy a global retail vision and strategy. • This is a highly visible role and the candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of impact, both in personal style, demonstration of our values and through business results. • This role will operate across multiple sub-categories; consequently the candidate must be able to successfully prioritize between what’s urgent vs. important. • The key day to day interaction will be with the Marketing Managers/Director category roles, key GM’s, Region Marketing, Regional Customer Leadership and Regional President.. • A significant part of this role will involve interaction with key retail partners. The candidate must drive GSK’s skill level in shopper marketing and establish GSK’s reputation as the first ‘FMCH’ (fast moving consumer healthcare) business. • Responsible for deploying a high level retail vision, key strategies and guiding principles, guidelines on price positioning, channel insights and prioritization and high-level category selling story to the regional markets. Responsible for sharing category/shopper best practices across regions. |

| Requirements |
Preferred Qualification • MBA or post graduate degree • Experience in emerging consumer class markets or other emerging economies will be highly preferred • Technical shopper marketing skills of the highest standard will be vital to drive shopper marketing excellence from the central teams out into the markets. • Financial acumen is vital to ensure budget control. • Experience gained within the relevant markets, key retail customers or relevant company experience can be directly applied o Track record of setting successful trade vision & strategy, o Demonstrated ability to identify and deploy powerful insights that drive brand and category growth in the retail environment, |
