Description
Basic Qualification
Experience with SAP R/3 functionality PP/PE (Production Planning / Production Execution) in a process industry
Proven significant hands-on experience of SAP R/3 configuration
Knowledge of integration points between area of expertise and related SAP modules.
Experience providing support for SAP incidents (3rd level)
Details
• Analyze change requests to identify the appropriate action and present to the Change Review Board for approval.
• Plan the delivery of the change and provide a delivery date to the customer.
• Execute the change including, raising a Change Control, making configuration changes, coordinating development/security/basis input, testing, documentation updates and deployment to production.
• Determine root cause for problems
• Communicate progress of change to the customer
• Coordinatation and communication with other functional experts if other modules are impacted
• Supporting the transition of new projects into Application Support
• Help improve delivery of second line services by proactively identifying and preventing repeated incidents through training, help documents, routine tasks etc.
• Ensure that the user documentation and operating procedures are up to date.
Requirements
Preferred Qualification
Experience working in a global company preferred, ideally in a regulated environment.
