| Description |
Basic Qualification * Details GlaxoSmithKline is a global research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare company with a proud history in Australia dating back to 1886. Our mission is to improve the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer, employing approximately 1600 people across Australia and New Zealand.
With careful planning and considered investment, we have a product pipeline which is the envy of the industry and a clear focus on being number one by reputation as well as commercial performance which can only be achieved by placing the customer at the heart of everything we do.
The HR Team, based predominantly in Melbourne supports all GSK businesses across Australia and New Zealand utilizing a shared service model including Total Reward, Recruitment, Learning Delivery, Payroll and HR Response Services. Our HR Consultants teams provide HR expertise to support business objectives and people leaders in each of our businesses.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team supporting the Pharmaceutical Commercial Business based in our new offices in Abbotsford, Melbourne. Reporting to the HR Lead – Pharma Commercial, you will enable and drive the success of our HR operating model, ensuring first line HR support is delivered through the HR Response Centre and via the shared services teams in a consistent, standardized manner. You will provide expert advice and coaching to line managers, effectively manage employee relations matters and ensure the implementation of key initiatives including talent management, salary and bonus reviews and the performance development process.
You will be an experienced HR professional with significant experience across all HR disciplines. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry will be very highly regarded along with FMCG experience or other related industries. You will have highly developed coaching and influencing skills with excellent organizational and project management capability. Most of all you will be motivated to take on a role where you can make your mark in a company that places reputation first and foremost, ensuring we achieve our objective to help people do more, feel better and live longer.
