| Description |
Basic Qualification 4- year BA/BS degree required from an accredited institution 5 years experience managing both graduate and undergraduate talent related programs. Details •Lead and manage the US Graduate/Undergraduate Programs to include:
-Developing a clearly defined strategy for the program that is aligned to the overall US Pharma agenda and supports the broader GSK agenda regarding graduate recruitment and development i.e. developing future leaders. -Based on the outputs of robust skills forecasting activities with the business, plan and co-ordinate the marketing campaign in conjunction with the relevant HR team that will ensure US Pharma sources the best candidates for the program. -Create, evolve, and improve structure and rotations of the program to meet business needs. -Facilitate the budget process to maintain headcount, training and development, etc within program. -Ensure HR is prepared to deliver a robust recruitment process from sourcing through to selection and that outsourced vendors (when required) provide an effective level of service to US Pharma. -Participate in HR-driven assessment centers and secure appropriate business support at assessment centers i.e. Line Managers etc. -Work with appropriate business leadership teams to identify and secure appropriate line roles and line managers for Associates transitioning both into, within, and out of the graduate program. -Advise GSK Line Managers and graduates on graduate program details and scheme objectives. -Partner with Custodians, Line Managers, Recruitment, and other key stakeholders -Hold regular reviews with Associates, ensuring development objectives of the program are being met and the program framework is being effectively implemented. -Hold regular meetings with graduate line managers to review performance and development of Associates and make recommendations on future development focus. -Co-ordinate launch, interim business and program completion events. -Benchmark program internally and externally and improve as necessary -Facilitate the relocation process, eg global mobility, on behalf of the program when required. -Ensure that all processes in the program (e.g., recruitment and hiring) meet GSK legal requirements -Produce materials as required for graduates and managers – publicity/coaching guides/event diaries. -Develop reporting systems for graduates both on and after the program – i.e. tracking systems, progress against development plans overall retention both within and post the program, career progression post completion of the program etc. -Identify placing-out roles for Associates as they complete the formal program.
•Build a strong working partnership with the US Pharma organization to ensure there is high level of sponsorship and profile of the program is maintained. •Build strong links across the US Pharma organization to ensure there is effective collaboration and knowledge management on shared areas of capability and need i.e. core disciplines and associated development tools and interventions. •Design and maintain the mechanisms for measuring the success and ROI of the program i.e. general retention across key functional populations, career progression within functional populations, usage levels, and integration of tools within the PDP process etc. •Provide advice and guidance to HR Leadership, Senior Managers, Managers, and Site & Function L&D Leads etc. on the available tools and resources to support development requirements. •Contribute to the identification of development activities/programs for Associates |

Preferred Qualification .MBA •Detailed understanding of the Pharmaceutical organization across the GSK businesses •Experience of working within complex, matrix organizations. •Understanding of the processes involved in the Sales and Marketing of pharmaceutical products •Understanding of 21st century commercial challenges and their impact to the pharmaceutical marketplace •Project management of large scale projects with multi-site remit. •Relationship building/influencing and facilitation skills to a senior level. •Experience managing talent-related programs and exposure to talent management principles. •Experience of leading or supporting key ‘development’ initiatives within required functional disciplines i.e. training, coaching, mentoring initiatives. •Change management experience. |
