| Description |
Basic Qualification •At least 5-7 years experience in clinical study conduct •Experience in a matrix/complex/multi-disciplinary environment •Experience in project management •Managerial experience to motivate and develop individuals and teams. Leadership attitude and business acumen. Details Within GCRD department, ensure dedicated project management for a vaccine franchise with 30-40 ongoing studies across clinical functions (Medical, Biostatistics, Sciences Writing, Data Management, Study Coordination and monitoring) in order to maximize the efficiency of the clinical development process.
Responsible for developing detailed and realistic fully –loaded budget ($ and resources) and timelines plans (including alternative scenario,…). Project budget potential to approximately $50-100 Million per year for big projects (e.g. Flu, Cervarix, Malaria…). Monitoring and managing project spending and resource needs. Accountable for reporting on project progress (timing, budget, resource needs, quality, action plans,….), for pro-actively highlighting risks & potential issues, and for proposing solutions/ensuring resolution plans are implemented on a timely manner. Acts as a central point of contact for knowledge of overall operational clinical projects status and issues (at central and regional levels) and for issue escalation to Senior Management (GCDC Heads, GCRD Head,…).. Within his/her area of expertise, is accountable for developing and delivering the clinical development plan in realistic time, with the most effective use of resources and adequate level of quality, in order to deliver and maintain a product of global value. |

| Requirements |
Preferred Qualification Master degree in sciences (Life Sciences preferably) or substantial relevant business experience. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Clinical Study Management roles and activities. Advanced knowledge ICH-GCP. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively deliver messages to any target audience. Professional Project Management certificate (PMI or equivalent) is an asset. Business or finance education is an asset. Knowledge of Regional organization and understanding of Local Operating Countries structure. Intensive knowledge of project vaccine, CDP, Target Product Profile for projects and knowledge of competitor vaccines. |
