Description
Basic Qualification
•Bachelors Degree in life science, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology
•Knowledge of the publishing environment, the rules and principles associated with journal editors and congress activities
•Flexible thinking

Details
•Support regional publication needs
•Support global publications needs from the Phila GCDC projects
•Raise and maintain the publication standards to highest level of scientific interpretation ensuring best business support to GSK Biologicals products.
Main responsabilities
•Publication strategy, planning and delivery (articles, abstracts, posters, presentations…) that support regional needs in alignment with global communication strategy following the scientific standards as well as processes/procedures in place based on policies and principles for Public disclosure of Human subject Study (POL&GUI-GSKF-408 v03)
•Support global publications needs from the Phila GCDC projects
•Main contact point in the region for the project publications managers
•Main contact point with regional clinical/EPI/HE/MA & commercial GSK contacts, regional/local country investigators, journals and congresses.
Accountability:
•Publication strategy & planning
- Define regional and local journal publication priorities in close collaboration with regional partners and provide consolidated regional publication plans to GSK Biologicals Rixensart global publication team,
- Identify studies missing in regional / GSK Biologicals Rixensart publication plans (to clear backlog).
- Defining priorities & responsabilities in global publications from Phila GCDC projects assigned together with project publication manager
•Publication Delivery
- Responsible for local publications delivery
- Responsible for identifying writing resources/developing regional writing network and budgets,
- Track and measure publication output to ensure publications delivery prior to NYAG agreement timelines,
- Local support for the delivery of regional multi-country publications (coordinate with GSK Biologicals global publication team in Rixensart, medical directors and journal editors),
- Editorial responsibility for local and global Phila GCDC publications assigned
•Conference Abstracts / Posters
- Manage regional and local conference abstracts submissions,
- Coordinate with GSK Biologicals global publication team in Rixensart, medical directors and conference organizers.
•Support to the central CTR/PP team:
- Ensure compliance for timely study information and data disclosure requirements for local studies according to legal and policy requirements (NYAG, CTR and Protocol Posting processes)
- Protocol Posting
Ensure regional and local approvals / sign offs
- Clinical Trial Register
Ensure all regional and local studies’ data are posted on Clinical Trial Register;
Obtain necessary regional and local approvals / sign offs
Flagging new local studies to the central CTR/PP team
Requirements
Preferred Qualification
PhD life science, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology
•Experience in Pharmaceutical industry
•Experience in publications management
•Knowledge of external experts management
•Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
•Excellent writing and presentation skills
•Strategic skills with strong planning and organizational skills
