Description
Basic Qualification
MD degree required as well as experience in respiratory diseases. Previous Medical Affairs experience strongly preferred.

As the physician medical affairs lead, will be responsible for the development and execution of the Advair medical plan including the oversight of clinical and outcomes trials, external medical relations, medical information and scientific communications for the brand.

Position will lead US medical affairs for Advair aligning a team of brand related medical professionals and resources. In addition, position will co-lead the Clinical Commercial Brand team and will work with global counterpart to ensure global alignment.

Minimum 10 years experience in clinical, research, or academic experience; 5 to 7 years pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred; leadership experience managing a scientific staff required. Travel may be required.
Details
The purpose for this position is to drive excellence, alignment and coordination of US medical affairs support for Advair from regulatory file through the entire life cycle of the brand. The position set the overall US medical strategy for the asset, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, and is accountable for the full medical tactical implementation.
