Description
Basic Qualification
****THIS POSITION WILL COVER WYOMING, NORTH DAKOTA, SOUTH DAKOTA, MONTANTA, COLORADO, KANSAS AND NEBRASKA. The incumbent will live in Denver, CO****

-PharmD or Ph.D. with a clinical background
-U.S. Licensure required for PharmD
-Comprehensive knowledge of drug clinical development process, policies, and regulations
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-A high level of planning and organizational skills required
-Knowledge of drug clinical development process
-Ability to work independently and travel frequently (60% -75%)
Details
-Enhance customer focus by providing medical information, support activities, and programs that help optimize the utilization of GSK products in the Therapeutic area
-Establish and maintain long-term peer-to-peer relationships with key customers, i.e. national/regional opinion leaders, leaders in medical research, formulary, decision makers, etc.
-Address formulary/P&T issues by delivering scientific presentations
-Identify and train physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver presentations on behalf of GSK
-Participate in regional customer advisory panel programs
-Identify and assess potential investigators/sites for GSK clinical experiences
and outcomes studies
-Provide field coordination of Regional Medical Scientist (RMS) activities,
in addition to serving as the RMS' scientific advisor/mentor (Senior RMS)
Requirements
Preferred Qualification
A minimum of 2 years of clinically relevant experience and medical operations (clinical research, pharmacoeconomics, field liaison, medical information) experience preferred.
