Position Description
SUMMARY: Position will perform manual tasks of receiving, inspecting (auditing), Loaner Kit assembly, stocking of parts and sets, as well as general housekeeping of Loaner Processing department.

Position Responsibilites
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Must successfully complete training requirements in all (3) of the following major areas. This operator must also be performing within the established performance requirements in their current level to be eligible.

1. Loaner Inbound- Accurately audit and inspect received loaner deliveries. Unload and receive incoming shipments.
2. 1551 Inventory Management - Use the inventory control system to receive, relieve and manage Loaner product inventory (cycle counting).
3. Loaner Outbound - Accurately configure, audit and ship Loaner delivery kits

Utilize employee skills on a regular basis to support Distribution workload. (Flexibility to work a rotation schedule will be required to support daily mission.)

Meet the minimum requirements necessary for being eligible (if interested) for participation in the after hours Pager Service. This includes the receiving, inspecting and processing of loaner surgeries and the processing of shelf orders.

Maintain overall cleanliness of the department and all of its related functions. This will include (but not limited to) cleaning dock areas and workstations and ensuring all materials and equipment are stored properly on a daily basis.

Communicate with Group Leaders and Supervisors on a daily basis with occasional contact with Customer Service and Senior Operations Management.

Complete inspections / audits in an aggressive manner consistent with department, facility or corporate goals and objectives.

Support all company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, U.S. FDA regulations, the MDD, ISO 9001, and EN46001 regulations.
Maintain a professional and credible image with FDA and other regulatory agencies, consultants, vendors, and co-workers.

Upon completion of training and testing, employee will have ability to perform all above responsibilities with nominal supervision.

In addition to meeting the above requirements, candidates must be able to achieve and maintain acceptable performance and competency ratings in the department.

Work all overtime as required.

Consistently meet or exceed department goals for efficiency, quality and attendance.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years experience in a high volume distribution warehouse or manufacturing operation required.
Warehouse experience in the medical device industry preferred

High degree of initiative and self-motivation

Strong data entry skills

Good basic math skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to learn and retain information on part numbers, lot numbers and inventory control practices.

Ability to lift and/or move a minimum 50 lbs over the course of eight hours per day.

Must have the ability to provide training for new employees upon personal completion of training requirements
