Title: Associate Director/Director, PKPD&B
Req: 01078
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):
The candidate will be responsible for directing a bioanalytical laboratory to develop methods and test samples from pre-clinical and clinical studies for phamacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity and biomarker determination. Essential functions include assay design and development employing various assay technologies for immunoassays, biochemical and cell-based assays; assay qualification and validation; sample testing; trouble-shooting assay issues; identification, evaluation and implementation of new technologies; participation in project teams; interaction with other internal groups and external collaborators; and other related duties as required.

| Requirements |
Position Requirements
Experience: 10+ years industry experience. Prior experience in the management of a bioanalytical group is required.
Special Skills/Abilities: Detailed knowledge of the development, validation, and application of immunoassays, immunogenicity assays, and cell-based assays
Job Complexity: Ability to supervise the development of diverse analytical methods across multiple technology platforms
Supervision: Minimal supervision
Educational Requirements
Education: PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, or a related field
