Position Summary:
Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):
The Associate Scientist will develop, implement, and perform assays for drug development in oncology. Laboratory activities will include routine cell culture, collection and processing of biological materials, and in vitro assays.

Position Requirements
Special Skills/Abilities:
• Strong hands-on skills in several of the following: FACS, tissue culture (cell lines and primary), in vitro cell-based assays (ELISA/MSD, IP/IB), HTP/high content screening, antibody development/screening.
• Experience in small animal handling (xenograft, orthotopic, dosing, surgery, etc.) is a plus.
• Background in angiogenesis is desirable.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Well organized and able to prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses independently.
Job Complexity: Will be required to balance laboratory work, experiment design, and collaborative interactions with co-workers related to discovering anti-cancer therapeutics.
Supervision: Can work independently, with minimal day-to-day supervision. May supervise others.
Educational Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education: : B.S., M.S., or equivalent
Experience: 4-7 years of experience with Bachelors, or 1-4 years with a Masters and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
