Title: Manufacturing Technician III/IV - Night Shift
Location: PA, Philadelphia - NON SALES
Req: 02677
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of tasks related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products. Operates general manufacturing equipment, such as autoclaves, and filtration apparatus. Handles raw materials and intermediate or finished products. Assists in all direct manufacturing support functions such as Thaw, Blend, Fill, Stage, Prep, Environmental Monitoring (EM) and equipment preparation. Assists in indirect manufacturing support functions, such as cleaning and sanitization of the facility. Performs standard operating procedures to meet current good manufacturing practices (GMP). Accurately completes required documentation to comply with Federal regulations and assists with batch-record close-out. Maintains product related records as required. Assigns daily tasks to production technicians, monitors manufacturing tech training curricula, and schedules group training. Author/revise SOPs and Batch records as needed.

Position Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous aseptic processing experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry is required to be considered for this position.
Special Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency to initiate, investigate and close deviations and CAPAs in Trackwise. Demonstrated ability to give presentations and author reports.
Job Complexity:
Develops solutions to manufacturing problems. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Supervision:
Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Educational Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or Biologic Technician Certification or Associate Science Degree. Bachelors degree is a strong plus.
Experience:
6-8 years’ related experience or training with no college degree. 4 – 6 years related experience or training with College degree.
