Title: Facilities Technician II
Location: CA, Santa Clara - NON SALES
Req: 02198
Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):
Responsible for the installation, operation, and / or general maintenance of all equipment and components that support the facility ( cGXP, SOPs, HVAC, Specialty water,chillers, steam, etc.), as well as any other task assigned. Must be able
to trouble shoot problems in the event of mechanical failure of equipment and be able to recommend parts needed for the effective repair of such. Will work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

Position Requirements
Special Skills/Abilities: Appropriate plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical Licenses (EPA Refrigerant Recovery Type I, II, III or Universal Certification or Stationary Engineer Lvel II or III as required) and/or equivalent work experience to insure working knowledge
Job Complexity: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read, write and utilize complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and/or procedural manuals. Must be able to use basic & precision hand tools and utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments. Must be able to read mechanical schematics/piping diagrams and be able to work (troubleshoot & perform mechanical/electrical repairs) in a clean room/production environment. Abililty to work overtime as required and provide On Call after hours support.
Supervision: General supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
Educational Requirements
Education: High School Diploma, Certificate / Technical Training, Journey Man
Experience: 3-6 years experience
