Title: Intern, Medical Organization
Location:MD, Gaithersburg - Corporate Headquarters
Req: 02145
Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others):
The MedImmune Clinical Research and Development Intern will gain a hands-on experience of working in a clinical research and development biotechnology company. The 10-12 week internship period will have four core responsibilities and objectives.
a) Gain a hands-on experience working on an assigned project with their mentor with a presentation or report at the termination of the internship period
b) Gain experience within a leading biotech organization
c) Develop an understanding of clinical development phases I-IV
d) Follow mentor and gain exposure and network with other pharmacists working at MedImmune.
Assigned projects may be involved in one or more of the following departments. Clinical Development,
Clinical Operations, Health Outcomes and Pharmacoeconomics, Medical Affairs, or Product Safety.

Experience:
Special Skills/Abilities: Interest in biotechnology and clinical development, and excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
Job Complexity: Entry level
Supervision: High supervision, mentoring and coaching

Requirements/Qualifications:
Education: Applicant must have completed their second professional year at a college or school of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education
